Tom Villetto, Sr.
Founder

With a background as a professional tennis player for over a decade, Thomas Villetto Sr. naturally found his way into tennis court construction when a fellow tennis pro asked him to build a private court at his home. Growing up with a father who was both an architect and builder, Tom was no stranger to land engineering and construction. He accepted the challenge and successfully completed his first court—an experience that quickly led to word-of-mouth referrals and more projects from friends and their networks.

What began as a favor evolved into a thriving business. Now, over 43 years later, Villetto Tennis Courts has earned a reputation as the gold standard in tennis court construction, serving some of America’s most distinguished clients and maintaining an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and integrity.

Tom Villetto, Jr.
Owner/Operator

From the moment he could walk, Thomas Villetto Jr. was immersed in the world of tennis court construction. Raised on job sites and around machinery, he was operating equipment before he was old enough to vote and learning the craft directly under the guidance of his father. A multi-sport athlete throughout high school, Tom also competed professionally in golf for a short time—furthering his appreciation for sports and precision.

While tennis has always been a personal passion, his professional focus is on carrying forward the legacy of Villetto Tennis Courts. With a deep respect for his father’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence, Tom Jr. is leading the company into its next chapter, expanding its reach while preserving the quality and integrity that has defined the brand for over four decades.

“We use our tennis court almost every day during the summer—it’s perfect for staying active, spending time as a family, and hosting friends.”
